i had sleepless night remembering when everyone around were in awe of the creative ideas i had about events, tourism, community development, programs and lots more. i have had great executions in the past but my intentions/ideas are not just enough.
Intentions and actions are distinct yet intertwined aspects of human behavior. Intentions represent our goals or desires, while actions are the physical or mental behaviors that we undertake to achieve those goals. A strong intention is a necessary first step, but it is ultimately the action that translates intention into reality.
In the grand scheme of life, where dreams are woven and destinies shaped, two threads stand out as the backbone of progress: intention and action. These twin forces are the silent architects of our relationships, careers, personal growth, and the legacy we leave behind. But how do they interact? How do they shape the way we love, work, grow, and are perceived by others?

The Seed of Intention: Where It All Begins
Every great achievement, every meaningful connection, and every transformative moment starts with a single spark: intention. Intention is the “why” behind what we do,the quiet resolve that sets our course. It’s the decision to love deeply, to pursue a dream, or to become a better version of ourselves. However, intention alone is like a seed buried in the soil, it holds immense potential but remains dormant without the nurturing force of action.
I have been in relationships/friendships where i considered that my intentions were absolutely pure and. This might mean to be a supportive partner, a reliable friend, or a nurturing parent. That intention is beautiful, but without consistent actions, listening attentively, showing up during tough times, or celebrating small victories, it remains an unfulfilled promise. Similarly, in career, you might intend to climb the ladder, start a business, or master a craft. But without the discipline to act such as studying, networking, taking risks, that intention stays a daydream.
Intention is the compass; action is the journey. One without the other leads to a life of “what could have been.”
The Bridge of Action: Turning Ideas into Reality
Ideas are seductive. They whisper promises of success, love, and fulfillment. But an idea without execution is like a blueprint without a builder, it’s just lines on paper. Action is the bridge that transforms intention into reality, and it’s often where the real work begins.
Take career choices as an example. Many of us have envisioned ourselves in roles that excite us, perhaps as a great teacher, a project manager, an artist, an entrepreneur, or a leader in our field. But the path from vision to victory is paved with actions, late nights studying, early mornings pitching ideas, and countless moments of pushing through self-doubt.
Yet, action isn’t just about effort, it’s about aligned effort. Actions that don’t reflect your intentions can lead you astray. Imagine someone who intends to build a fulfilling career but spends their days scrolling social media instead of honing their skills. Or a partner who intends to foster trust but fails to communicate openly.
Misaligned actions erode intentions, creating a gap between who we want to be and who we are.
Relationships: Where Intentions and Actions Collide
Nowhere is the dance between intention and action more evident than in relationships. Love, friendship, and family thrive on the harmony of these two forces. We’ve all met someone with good intentions a partner who wants to make us feel valued, a friend who means to stay in touch but if their actions don’t follow through, those intentions ring hollow.
Expectations play a critical role here. In relationships, we often judge others not by their intentions but by their actions. A partner who intends to be supportive but consistently forgets important dates or dismisses your feelings creates a disconnect. Over time, this gap breeds resentment, as the other person feels unseen. Conversely, when actions align with intentions, when a friend calls to check in, or a spouse plans a thoughtful gesture, trust and connection deepen.
Career Choices and Outcomes: The Long Game
In the realm of career, intention and action are the difference between stagnation and success. When you choose a career path, your intention sets the destination, perhaps to make an impact, achieve financial stability, or express your creativity. But the outcome depends on the actions you take to get there.
Consider two aspiring entrepreneurs. Both intend to build successful businesses. One spends years researching, networking, and iterating on their product, while the other waits for the “perfect moment” to start (Writing this because i have been here, scared, not doing stuffs out of fear, FOMO and lots of excuses that doesn’t make a change). Years later, the first entrepreneur has a thriving company, while the second is still dreaming. The difference? Action. DO.IT.AFRAID
Career success also hinges on adaptability. Intentions may remain steady, but the actions required to achieve them often shift. A young professional might intend to become a leader in their industry, but market changes, new technologies, or unexpected setbacks demand new actions, learning new skills, pivoting strategies, or seeking mentorship. Those who align their actions with their intentions, while remaining flexible, are the ones who turn dreams into reality.
Do not let your mind be a graveyard for ideas, move to EXECUTION.
I am looking for a team to execute a couple of ideas around business, impact, fun and a career before the end of the year, if interested, send me a message, lets make magic.
With love,
